To meet the urgent demand of information technology professionals, our department was set up in August, 2000. Our graduate school was established in 2002 to develop more professionals. The mission of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at Ming Chuan is to provide the highest quality learning environment to our undergraduate and graduate students. We are committed to achieve this mission.

The Computer Science and Information Engineering Department aims for outstanding learning accomplishments through theory and practice-based education in order to raise up learners with high-level professional knowledge, outstanding character, team spirit, and global view to serve both domestically and globally.
